We educate and empower girls in elementary schools in rural India who otherwise are deprived of childhood dignity. Impoverished and uneducated parents ask girls to cook, run errands, and care for younger siblings. An age-old culture values sons more than daughters. Some girls are forced into marriage as young as 15 or even lower. Only 1 in 100 get to finish high school in rural India. We believe that education is the only hope and escape for girls to have a safe, secure, and healthy future.
